Following the dashboard redesign, we brought the same collapsible pattern to the announcements feed. Each announcement now appears compact and expands with a click to show all of its content.
A cleaner feed
When an announcement is closed, you see its title, an icon and the relative publication date. When you open it, the channel tags, the "Pinned" and "Admin" indicators, the full message body and the reactions appear. This way you can quickly scan the list of announcements and open only the ones you care about.
Reactions stay the same
All the logic for reactions, filters, search and pagination remains intact. You can keep reacting to each announcement and filtering by channel exactly as before; the only thing that changed is how the information is organized on screen.
Channel selector fixed
We took the opportunity to fix a visual detail in the "Channels" selector. In the narrow sidebar column, the section title could overlap with the summary text and look blurry. We corrected the title behavior so it truncates correctly, and removed the redundant summary in that tight space. The channel selector now reads clean at any screen width.
Presentation only
As with the rest of the redesign, this change is purely presentational. No data, API call or behavior was removed or modified. The goal is to make day-to-day life in the dashboard more comfortable, especially when there are many announcements piled up.
We'll keep polishing the dashboard experience section by section, always with the same principle: dense information, but orderly and under your control.
